How do I burn a candle safely?
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Never burn a candle on or near anything that might catch fire. Keep lit candles away from drafts--open windows, air conditioners, vents, fans, etc. Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets. Extinguish the flame if it becomes too high or flickers repeatedly. Trim the wick and check for drafts before re-lighting. If the melt pool becomes too deep, or if the candle jar seems too hot, extinguish the candle immediately and let it fully cool before touching it. If there is any chance you might doze off to sleep, blow out your candle immediately! Wait until the flame extinguishes completely and clears of smoke before replacing our topper lid.
If you’ve created a large wax pool during your burn, blow it out gently to avoid wax splattering.
Are your candles non-toxic?
Yes! Mere Point Soleil was founded on the principle of clean-burning and non-toxic ingredients. We use all-natural soy and coconut wax, cotton braided wicks (no metal-core), and clean fragrance oils which are free of phthalates, carcinogens associated with California’s Prop 65, mutagens, reproductive toxins, organ toxins, and acute toxins.
How strong are the scents?
We spent a lot of time conducting burn tests to make sure we get the scent strength just right. Our candles are designed to fill a room with exquisite fragrances without being too overpowering. Do you test on animals?
No! All of our candles are cruelty-free.
What size are the candles?
We currently offer two sizes. First is our 8 oz. tin which has a diameter of 3 1/8'' and is 2 1/8'' tall. Second is our 10 oz. jar which has a diameter of 3 1/2'' and is 4'' tall.
Can I sell your products on my website?
By purchasing Mere Point Soleil products, you agree not to resell or distribute such products for any commercial purposes. If we have reason to believe that your order is not for your personal use, we may reject or cancel your order.
I would like to place a large order (like for a wedding or corporate gift). How do I do this?

How do I make changes to my order?

Can I change my shipping address?
Please email us at email@example.com as soon as possible. As long as your order has not processed into the shipping phase, we will do our best to accommodate any changes to the shipping address.
When will my order ship?
Due to industry impacts from COVID, please allow 3-5 business days for orders to process. We apologize for this delay. We are doing everything we can to reduce the order processing time. As soon as it ships, you’ll receive a shipment notification email with a tracking number.
When will I be charged for my order?
Your payment method will be charged as soon as your order is accepted and processed.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Paypal, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
What is your return policy?
All returns must be processed within 30 days of receiving the order. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number to initiate a return or exchange. Used candles cannot be returned or refunded. To be eligible for return and refund, the candle must be in its original packaging. Once the candle is sent back, we will evaluate the product and confirm if it is eligible for refund.
We cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
How long does it take to process a return?
Please allow 3-5 business days for your refund to process after we receive your return.
What happens if there is damage during shipment?
In the event the product is damaged during shipping you may return your unused candle(s) for a full refund. Please email us at email@example.com with pictures of the damage within 7 days of delivery.
What happens if I don't like the scent?
If you the scent is not enjoyable for any reason, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We want you to love our products are much as we do!
Can I return my scent sample order?
All scent sampler sales are final.
How does your referral program work?
Let your friends know how much you love our candles. You'll get $10 off - they get 10% off.
After a successful purchase by the friend referred using the referral discount code, you will receive a discount code via email for $10 off.
Any abuse of this offer, as determined by Mere Point Soleil, may result in the rescission of the referring customer's referral credit and the referred person's promo code as well as both parties' inability to participate in this or future promotions.
